Room Information
We have 43 comfortably furnished bedrooms all with private shower and toilet. (We do NOT have any rooms with a bath). There are single, double, twin and triple rooms available. All rooms have digital colour television (most are flat screen), tea and coffee making facilities, alarm clock, hairdryers and central heating. You do not have to pay any extras for central heating, using the television or other in-room facilities, as is the case at some other properties. Almost all rooms are now double glazed.
In early 2007 we completed an extensive refurbishment of our bedrooms on the ground floor and also most of the rooms on the third floor. In 2008 we refurbished the rooms on the second floor and our dining room. In 2009 we redecorated all our public areas including corridors. Almost all our rooms are now non smoking. We have kept a small number of rooms on the second floor rear corridor available for those who wish to smoke. (Currently 3 singles, 2 doubles, 3 twins) In line with Government policy all public areas have become non smoking areas from July 1st 2007. You may still smoke in the outside areas of the property and in the designated rooms on the second floor.
We have recently completed an extensive upgrade of our bar area and have also altered some smaller doubles into singles. We now have 8 singles (previously 5). Check out our blog for upgrading projects photos.
